“ The Fujifilm FinePix Z37 / Z35 is targeted to the young first-time photographers who want an easy-to-use point-and-shoot digital camera that also looks cool. At only 24mm (0.9 in.) thick, the FinePix Z37 (Z35 in Canada and rest of the world) is ultra compact so it is easily carried in a trousers or coat pocket. It features 10MP resolution on a 1/2.3-in. CCD, 3x optical zoom (35-105mm equiv.) and a 2.5-in. LCD (230K dots).
Set the camera to Scene Recognition Auto mode and the camera automatically recognizes the scene (selects the appropriate Scene Mode): Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait, and Backlit Portrait. For more control, select Manual (Programmed AE) mode. Face Detection optimizes people pictures by automatically identifying up to 6 faces and adjusting focus and exposure on the selected face. Red-eye removal automatically detects and corrects flash reflection in the eyes.
A dedicated movie button makes shooting movies fast. You can also share the movie with friends on YouTube using Fujifilm's new FinePix Viewer software (included).
Picture Stabilization scene mode selects a higher ISO to help reduce blur. A "Trimming to Blog" option in Playback allows you to resize your photo for easy posting, eliminating the need to use a PC to optimize images for the web.
The Fujifilm FinePix Z37 / Z35 is for the child or teen just getting into photography or anyone who just wants an affordable point-and-shoot digital camera. Available in serious Black & Silver, hot White & Pink, Blue, Green, or Purple (availability of colors are country dependent)... ”
