“ The Kodak Easy Share M873 is available for around Rs. 12,999 with a 1-year warranty. This price is good for an 8MP camera with the number of features the M873 has, but going by the quality of the pictures that it delivers, I'd rather look for another option. Maybe you'll find something in the previous PC buying guides that we published for cameras less than 15K... ”

With its 3x zoom and average-sized screen the M873 ticks the main boxes: slimline, user-friendly and eminently affordable. But we have come to expect more from even the cheaper compacts, and even extras like an orientation sensor can't disguise a lack of decent features or manual control... ”

“ While the Kodak EasyShare M873 is unquestionably a very attractive camera, with good build quality and finish, and is certainly priced to sell, it really doesn't compare well with ultra-compact cameras from other manufacturers. The lacklustre performance and poor low light ability are serious handicaps, but the very poor image quality is what really kills it. If you're looking for an ultra-compact camera, save up for a little longer and get something else instead... ”
