“ The Nikon Coolpix S210 is a fairly-priced and very attractive compact digital camera. Its looks are as good as any other camera in its price range, if not better. It is very compact, yet solidly built. It is also loaded with a nice range of features for such an economical price.
The Coolpix S210 is a great camera for novices or weekend warriors thanks to its easy to use menus and features. You can also trust that you will be buying a quality camera due to the Nikon brand stamped on it. Overall, it is a good buy for those in the market for a compact digital camera... ”

“ Small, tough and capable of giving you good results the Coolpix S210 is a good point and shoot snapper that neither too large in size or too expensive in price.
There is a reason Nikon believe this to be the hero product for Christmas and we have had trouble faulting it. ... ”

“ Considering how simple this camera is to use and how comfortable it is to tote along, I was disappointed that noise was a problem in my test shots starting at ISOs as low as 200. Shutter delay was another frustration; the S210 performs just a bit slower than other cameras in its class, resulting in missed opportunities (often) and blurred images (occasionally).
All the same, for under $200, with its cool time-lapse features, a slim frame, and commendable ease of use, the Coolpix S210 could be just the ticket as an entry-level, all-purpose camera.... ”

“ The Nikon Coolpix S210 is an incredibly easy to use and stylish 8-megapixel digicam. This is a great camera for anyone looking for a point-n-shoot model only. It has very few options for adjustments and no manual shooting modes. The performance was a little slow for a consumer model in this class, but the quality of the images are good, and the size makes it one of the smallest and easiest to carry cameras on the market. With an MSRP of US$179, we feel this camera offers a good a deal for those in the market for a simple to use digicam that fits into even the smallest of pockets. ... ”

“ Aside from its good looks, the Nikon Coolpix S210 has price on its side: if you want the skinniest camera you can get on the cheap, this one's right down there. But if you also want decent photo quality and performance, look at the marginally more expensive but older Canon PowerShot SD1000--it's not as pretty or slim, but it's small, fast ,and delivers better photos. Or stretch your budget a little further for the also tiny and attractive, but better performing and optically stabilized, Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS. ... ”
