The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS7 has every feature that a novice user might require and its features work as advertised. It's worth considering this digital camera if you don't want to spend more money on a model with a bigger zoom lens or a higher megapixel count...

In a crowded market, the DMC-FS7 certainly stands out when it comes to looks and build quality, but in terms of features and performance, its pretty much par for the course. But it is very easy to use and many digital snappers will welcome this no-hassle camera. Its also got some rather handy scene modes. Performance while good, is not exactly jaw-dropping, but we think few casual snappers will be disappointed...

Panasonic has a well-earned reputation for making very good but very expensive high-performance compacts, but with the FS7 it has proven that it can bring the same level of quality to the mid-price market. It offers superb build quality, stylish and ergonomic design, ease of use and acceptably quick performance, combined with excellent image quality. If you are looking for a sub-£200 ultra-compact, then the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS7 should be near the top of your shortlist...

Yet another nice little camera has emerged from the Panasonic design team and it's pretty obvious that they've clued up to being on a winner. I think the size of the sensor needs to be addressed because it's really messing up the cameras ability to work in low light situations.
If I was to get a small, neat compact for days out or holidays, I really would consider this camera because I would more than likely use flash for dark situations meaning the noise wouldn't be an issue...
