But if you want to take video, then make sure you are a video expert! I want to buy a newer P&S for shooting 720p video, H264 compression sounds good to me (better than Nikon D90, motion jpeg). But I am having a hard time to transcode the video to lower bit-rate before upload to youtube or facebook. Also, after I installed the correct video codec, I still find the video choppy on my dual-core computer with 2GB memory... my CPU usage is only 50%. but video playback is bad.
