Casio Exilim EX-F1

This model incorporates a high speed CMOS sensor and a high speed LSI processor. With this model, Casio has achieved an ultra-high speed 60 frames per second (fps) burst rate for still images, together with 1,200 fps high speed movie recording that captures movement faster than the eye can see for ultra-slow motion replay. Moreover, the new model can record movies at full High-Definition.

12x optical zoom

The CMOS-Shift Anti Shake mechanism reduces the danger of unstable photos, even at 12x optical zoom. This enables you to take photos of far away objects while ensuring that you take a steady image.

6 megapixels (effective)

The new EX-F1 high-speed CMOS sensor with 6 megapixels delivers sharp and detailed photos in outstanding colour. The maximum picture size is 2816 x 2112 pixels and the outstanding quality, high-resolution photos are perfect for printing out in paper format A3 or larger.

New high-speed CMOS sensor

The EXILIM EX-F1 is equipped with the new CMOS sensor, which enables ultra-rapid photo series with full resolution and ultra-rapid movies, as well as videos in full HD resolution.

High-speed photography

With the high-speed mode you can take up to 60 photos per second. The picture rate can also be set to between 1 and 60 photos per second. Up to 60 photos can be taken at once - 60 photos per second for one second or 5 photos per second for 12 seconds. Now you will always capture precisely the right moment!

Pre Record mode

With the EX-F1 you can take photos even before pressing the release button! The camera can take up to 60 photos per second and save a maximum of 60 photos in its buffer memory - even before the release button is pressed. So you can capture the crucial moment, even if you press the release button too late.

BEST SHOT

In fact the EX-F1 has 26 flexible pre-settings for all sorts of situations to ensure that all photos and movies turn out well automatically. With BEST SHOT you can create and save your own settings in a flash too and you can retrieve them at any time.
Nearly all EX-F1 BEST SHOT motif settings are suitable both for taking photos and movies.

Face Detection function

Whether you're on holiday, at a party or spending time with your family - people are particularly popular subjects for a photo. It's always a pity when faces turn out blurred on a picture. The Face Detection function now offers the perfect solution, recognizing the individual faces or even entire groups, and automatically applying the best possible setting.

Face Recognition function

The Face Detection function recognises faces in the picture. Extremely clever:
The Face Recognition function can store up to six faces.
If several faces appear on a photo when taking a picture, the Face Recognition function focuses primarily on faces that have previously been saved as priorities in the family register. This enables you to set "preferences" for certain people when taking a photograph at family celebrations.

Flash Continuous Shutter

With the EX-F1 Flash Continuous Shutter you can take up to 20 photos in succession with Xenon flash at a speed of up to 7 photos per second. Guaranteed perfect photos even in weak lighting conditions! And the integrated LED light enables high-speed shots with 10 - 60 photos per second.

High-speed movie recording with up to1200 fps

The EX-F1 can record high-speed movies and deliver slow-motion footage of a world that remained invisible for the human eye until now. And you can choose between a recording speed of 300 fps, 600 fps or 1200 fps. The integrated movie button is perfect for starting recording quickly without having to switch from photo mode.

Full high-definition video recording

Record your videos in full high-definition quality * ! With the EX-F1, you can record outstanding videos with a resolution of up to 1920x1080 pixels and 12x optical zoom including stereo sound. The EX-F1 can also be connected to a HD compatible TV with a HDMI cable available separately, enabling videos to be viewed on the screen in complete comfort at any time.

* Max. recording duration: 29 min. per video.

Innovative H.264 movies

Anything is possible. You just have to want it. With the EX-F1, you can turn your brilliant ideas into digital reality – and in extremely high quality too, as the movies are recorded in innovative H.264 format. The H.264 enables you to record up to 1.5x longer high resolution movies with sound than in the conventional MPEG-4 format, with the same memory space and in the same picture quality. Extremely practical: movie clips are optimised automatically for YouTube™ with the new YouTube™ Capture Mode.

YouTube™ Capture Mode

It has never been easier to upload your own videos to YouTube™: with the EX-F1, you can film your most memorable moments directly in H.264 encoding optimised for YouTube™, in optimal video size and outstanding quality ** ! And the exclusive software makes uploading your videos to YouTube™ child's play.

** For the upload of your videos you need a internet connection, which may cause additional costs.

Movie button and movie pre-selection

The practical movie button means you can always film the best scenes wherever you are. When the camera is switched on, a touch of the button is all it takes to start recording high-speed movies or videos in high resolution (Full HD). To select the mode, simply turn the movie pre-selection to the desired recording setting and press the Movie button to begin recording.
