FEATURES

7.2 Megapixel CCD Sensor

For high quality prints: The CCD chip offers 7.2 million pixels. Such high resolution photos give you the advantage of being able to print them in excellent quality or to edit them on the computer. And so you will also be able to enlarge details and photos to poster size.

EXILIM Engine

Saves space and ensures fantastic shots: The new EXILIM Engine. It incorporates several components in a tiny space, works extremely quickly and saves energy. Thus it offers high resolution photos, high quality movies and a large number of functions in one housing that fits neatly in any pocket.

6.6 cm (2.6-inch) Wide Screen TFT colour display

New perspectives: with 6.6 cm (2.6-inch), the Wide Screen TFT colour display of the EX-Z75 is so large and wide that it takes up almost the entire rear side of the camera. This outstanding display enables you to take a closer look at your motifs, saved photos or movies.

3x optical zoom

Very close up: The quality lens of the EX-Z75 makes the 3x optical zoom possible. You simply get closer to the motif with the practical zoom rocker switch.

9-Point Multi AF function

Entirely automatic: If you take photos using the multi-focus, the camera measures the distance from the motif with the 9-Point Multi AF function at nine different points and sets the right focusing range. In addition, all the measured areas are displayed simultaneously which were the object of the focussing procedure. This means that every picture is extremely crisply focused.

Auto Macro function

Get closer! The Auto Macro function ensures sharpness in details or smaller settings. The EX-Z75 has focussing ranges of between 10 cm and 50 cm in macro range, i.e. close range.

Flash Assist function

Problem detected: With flash shots the background often remains dark. The subject is only slightly lit. The solution: Flash Assist. With this function the subject can, in many cases, still be corrected automatically.

Various Flash

You can adapt the flash of the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z75 to different situations. The following presets are available for this:

  • Red Eye-Reduction: reduces the "red eye effect"
  • Soft Flash: for ideal illumination of the immediate area
  • Auto: flash is switched on automatically when required
  • On: flash always switched on
  • Off: flash always switched off

RGB-histogram

Colour control: The RGB-histogram represents the proportions of red, green and blue on the display. The RGB-histogram is a supplement to the black/white histogram, with which you can check the light/dark contrast of a motif.

The Anti Shake DSP

The Anti Shake DSP* is tucked away in the slim designer housing of the EX-Z75 , which reduces the danger of blurred photos if the camera is not held steadily or the motifs are moving. The Auto Macro function and the Quick Shutter take care in the meantime that your photos are correctly focussed.
* electronic image stabilizer

USB Direct Print / PictBridge

No computer needed: you can connect the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z75 directly to various printers and have your pictures in your hand shortly afterwards printed on photo paper. USB Direct Print ist the standard EPSON printer. PictBridge connects your camera to different manufacturers' printers. Preset paper sizes help to select the right format.

Super Life Battery

Extreme Power: Empty batteries are history. Thanks to new technologies, the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z75 uses much less energy, but at the same time have the extremely powerful Super Life Battery. With so much power, the camera is ready for use at that decisive moment and takes up to 230 shots non-stop. (as per CIPA Standard)
