Casio Exilim EX-Z850

Gigantic views: The 2.5-inch TFT colour display is brighter than average at approx. 1200 cd/m²* and gives you a clear view of your motifs even in extremely bright surroundings. To ensure that you have the best possible view at all times, the brightness will adjust to the respective lighting conditions on request. There are four presets for you to choose from: 0/+1/+2/AUTO

FEATURES

BEST SHOT

You don't have to be an expert to take fantastic pictures: In fact, the EX-Z850 has 33 flexible pre-settings for all sorts of situations to ensure that all photos and movies turn out well automatically. With BEST SHOT you can create and save your own settings in a flash, too, and you can retrieve them at any time.

Nearly all EX-Z850 BEST SHOT motif settings are suitable both for taking photos and movies.

Various Flash

You can adapt the flash of the EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z850 to different situations. The following presets are available for this:

•	Red Eye Reduction: reduces the "red eye effect"
•	Rapid Flash: three photos with flash in 1 second
•	High Power Flash: for ideal illumination of the immediate area
•	Strong Flash: illuminates distant motifs
•	Auto: flash is switched on automatically when required
•	On: flash always switched on
•	Off: flash always switched off

Film Stabilisation Function

Simply practical: The Film Stabilisation function* can reduce the risk of filming scenes which are wobbly because the camera has not been held still. The function can compensate for undesirable “wobbles”, which arise, for example, because of shaky hands - and often produces better films in this way.

AF-Assist light

Sharp photos despite darkness: AF-Assist light supports the autofocus system of your EX-Z850 if it is dark.

USB docking station / AV socket

Two points meet: The USB docking station is a flexible solution for a range of functions - such as the USB 2.0 connection to a computer, photo printer or battery charge. Thanks to the AV-connection, you can connect your EX-Z850 simply and easily to a television set and present both photos and movies in large format on the screen.

Movie Light

The practical Movie Light of the EX-Z850 enables you to record high quality movies even in poor light – because your motif is illuminated whilst you are filming. Versatile: When taking photographs in dark surroundings, the LED of the Movie Light functions as an auxiliary AF-light, when using the delayed shutter release it functions as a time signal.

High Quality MPEG4-Movies

If you record movies with your EX-Z850 , these are stored in high resolution at 30 frames per second with sound. Thanks to MPEG4 this quality fits on to a tiny memory card – for movie clips full of entertainment and action. Sample film in its original size (only for Windows).

Date Editor Function

Does the wrong date appear, because you have changed the settings without realizing it? Or was the time on the clock not adapted to the local time when travelling? The date editor function has the perfect solution to precisely these problems. The date and time can be corrected easily after the photo has been taken.

New Exilim Engine

CASIO has found a way of combining the important electronic components onto a single chip in the EXILIM Engine That is why the EX-Z850 is extremely fast, precise and offers such a high resolution. All in a case small enough to go almost anywhere.

7.2 Mega Pixel CCD

The ultra high resolution CCD Chip of the EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z850, gives you 7.2 million total pixels. For professionals and ambitious photographers, it exceeds today's average standards. High resolution pictures with up to 3072 x 2304 pixels can be enlarged to a format of up to DIN A3 without losing any sharpness or clearness.

Super Life Battery

Empty batteries are history. The EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z850 uses much less energy, but at the same time has the extremely powerful SUPER LIFE Battery. With so much power, the camera is always ready at that decisive moment; takeing up to 325 shots on a single charge.

EX-Key

At the press of a button: EX-Key gives you immediate direct access to many important settings In this way, you have the resolution, white balance, illumination measurement, ISO sensitivity and an overview of other Auto Focus Fields as quick as a flash. Especially practical: Your motif is shown in the display so that you can immediately see the effects of each setting. You set everything in seconds, in order to take the best picture every time.

DIRECT ON function

Instant: Whilst other cameras are still moving the lens out, you will take the best photos and make the best films by far thanks to the DIRECT ON function. Your camera is ready to take photos at the press of a button - in only approx. 1.0 s*.
