This may be the easiest camera to get acceptable results with. (don't tell anyone)
The jpeg engine is top notch. The only reason to shoot raw+jpeg is for very difficult lighting, or for extra critical images as insurance.
Spend time taking photos, not playing with the computer.

Excellent quality image!
Autofocus is fast and precise (much better than multicam 900),with a fine set up too.
Body it's simply awesome.Iso change,AF mode, and others very important settings are finally ONE step mode.
Excellent quality image with slightly more resolution than the old Fujisensor.Face On it's a good and useful feature.
Film simulations are now more accurate (with option to configure it personally).Tonal transitions are simply marvelous.Viewfinder it's very good.High ISO capability.
Cons:
It's no a high FPS camera. It's slow yet.Battery Nph150 are no compatible with enEl3.Viewing the 12 Mp file at the screen there are yet jaggies. But seems they disappear totally in the prints.

Nice camera, producing nice photos,... however, being spoiled by D200's interface (menus, speed of operation), a bit awkward to use.
But I am using it anyway :-)
Cons:
Actually, I have my second S5 already,.. actually I returned the first one because images contained a spot, always on the same location. First they suspected it's only dirty sensor, but after cleaning (by FujiFilm auth service), the spot remained the same. So I got a new camera, ... but this one has similar spot, although on a different location,... The spot appears no mater what lens I am using, it is easier to see it if used aperture is closed (F16 or more).
I wonder if any other S5 user is having the same problem?

It is a real Camera
I started with the S1 and progressed thru all of the versions to the S5 (I still use the S2 & S3). I have had no issues with any of them except for the dead sensor on the S2 that Fuji fixed free. The S5 finally feels like a real Camera to me having used the F series thru the years. This camera is a great tool and can deliver excellent quality images once the settings are "tweaked" to your liking. Battery life is exceptional with the MB200 and two batteries. I bought new 28oomhr batteries to use as a back up in the holder for the MB200 and haven't needed it in the 4 months I have had the S5. Many full bleed magazine covers later have proved its' worth.
Problems:
HU V3 tether to a Mac transfering raw crashes the program, PC works properly, Fuji is working on a fix currently
