This is a wonderful camera! I love the features including the one that allows for several pictures per second to be taken.. great for action/sports shots. The fact that I don't have to panic if the camera gets wet is huge since most of my pictures are taken outdoors and with rain/snow, I don't need to fret.
Yes the optical zoom is a little week, but with the high megapixel rate, cropping the picture can compensate. I've always had great luck with Panasonic products. Here's another great one.

Worth Every Dime
By far one of the best Digital Cameras I have ever owned! If you are looking for a good camera for low light e.g. taking pictures at a club or concert this camera will capture images very well 100% satified! Alos great for taking very close up pictures and auto focus to get you the clearest picture. I have recommended this camera to both friends and family. Have not tried the water proof aspect of it yet so more to come. Recently I took a picture with me and the wife in a snow storm and it caught every flake very impressive.

This camera is magnificent. It is durable and reliable. It takes great, high quality photos and offers a number of options when snapping photos. The HD video on here is quite good also. The fact that it works underwater is awesome and more importantly, I love the fact that it is shockproof. This is probably the best digital camera I have purchased.
