Firmware update for Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III version 1.2.0
Canon releases firmware version 1.2.0 for the Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III. This update offers these improvements:
- Supports the WFT-E2 II wireless file transmitter that was released in December 2009
Firmware Version 1.2.0 is for cameras with firmware up to Version 1.1.4. If the camera\'s firmware is already version 1.2.0, it is not necessary to update the firmware.
In addition, after the firmware is updated, if the WFT-E2 / E2A or WFT-E2 II wireless file transmitter is used with the camera, the indications that appear under [Communication mode] on the [WFT settings] menu are changed as follows:
FTP -> FTPtrans
PTP(PC) -> EOSUtility
HTTP -> WFTserver
HTTP account -> WFT account
