Velbon launches the Ultra Rexi L tripod and new website

Pushing the boundaries of technology, the Velbon ULTRA REXi L delivers a professional-quality tripod that is Ultra Compact when folded but giving full-size extended height and professional load bearing capacity whilst remaining Ultra Light weight through its Magnesium Alloy collar construction.

The ULTRA REXi L incorporates Velbon’s Patented Trunnion legs (5 sections) to create a tripod just 36cm long when folded, extending by 4.25 times its size, to an extended height of 153cm. Its solid construction and 30mm top leg sections give outstanding support with a professional recommended load capacity of 4Kg, whilst using Magnesium Alloy components to keep weight down to just 1.3Kg, comparable to many carbon fibre tripods with a similar Maximum height.

The ULTRA REXi L also has multi angle legs making it especially useful for Macro photography, or for use on uneven surfaces when walking or travelling. Its splittable, reversible centre column with quick-lock lever will accept any tripod head with 1/4” or 3/8” thread so you can make your own perfect combination.

Supplied complete with case that can also accommodate a range of tripod heads.
